Divorce Beach and Lover’s Beach
With those names, it’s unsurprising that these are two very different beaches, with views of two different oceans, but you can walk between them. It can be reached by water taxi from the marina or Medano Beach, close to Save on Vacations resorts on the Land’s End peninsula off the Cabo San Lucas marina.
The Pacific Ocean’s Divorce and Lovers Beach
When you visit Lover’s Beach, you can enjoy the view of Cabo San Lucas Bay while swimming in the calm waters of the Sea of Cortes or snorkeling nearby. You should avoid approaching the water at Divorce Beach. Stay away from the waves and admire the Pacific Ocean instead. From your suite at your resort from Save on Vacations, you may be able to see whale breaching during the right time of year.
During your trip to Los Cabos, ask the driver to take you to the rock formations and Sea Lion colony en route.
Chileno Bay and Medano Beach
Swimmable and safe, these two beaches offer a variety of experiences, and look out onto the turquoise blue, crystal clear waters of the Sea of Cortes.
There are many raucous bars close to the Cabo San Lucas Marina, where you can stop to enjoy a margarita and observe people. The resort also offers more activities than you could hope for in a day, including kayaking, paddleboarding, and flyboarding. In addition to traditional Mexican goods, friendly vendors offer sports souvenirs, hats, and sunglasses, so you don’t have to leave the beach to shop.

There are no bars, vendors, or kayak rentals in Chileno Bay, which is 9 miles from Cabo San Lucas.

However, you can enjoy some of the best snorkeling in the area while relaxing on a calm beach with a great view. A few steps from the beach, you’ll find colorful fish, or you can book a snorkel excursion to see the bay from a boat, where you’ll receive lunch and drinks afterward.
